about the shoes
We’re pretty firm believers that the best kinds of shoes are beaten up.
Ripped at the tongue, scuffed on the side, torn in the sole—well-traveled, to say the least. We wear our shoes to death, until they are falling off our feet and literally can’t be worn any more. Our sneakers have come with us as we’ve trucked through mountain hikes, fallen into rivers in Hawaii, and flown across the country to California.
So for the two of us, making the logo for Vea central to the idea of our shoes just made sense. We wanted our production company to function much like your trusty pair of sneakers: there to help you along your journey and make sure you and your brand reach your final destination. Our shoes are reminders of where we’ve been, where we’ve come from, and most importantly, where we’re going.
They tell stories, and so do we.

Hey guys! My name’s Dylan, and I’m a filmmaker born and raised in Southwest Michigan who decided to chase the sunshine 2000 miles to LA where I’m working to build my career in film. While Sky tends to be the visionary behind the work we create, my passion gravitates towards the more technical aspects of production. I focus on making the client’s ideas come to life, whether that involves setting up the best lighting, swapping lenses, or making phone calls to talent.

Hi there! I’m Sky, a current USC film student and freelance photographer/videographer. Having grown up drawing, writing, and shooting content, I handle a lot of the creative direction behind Vea, which usually means directing our current projects and designing the branding behind the company. To put it simply, my job is to help our clients figure out what exactly their story is and how best to tell it—then Dylan helps that vision come to life.

Commercial Work
This includes (but isn’t limited to) anything for a business, brand, or product. Maybe it’s a promotional video for your new storefront or a more general story about your business’ journey—just reach out and we’ll create a custom quote to suit your needs.
Weddings + Events
Some of our first paid jobs ever were weddings, and we still love to shoot them now. We offer half and full day coverage, engagement shoots, and consultation meetings within our various packages to ensure your big day is being covered.
Creative Films
The most open-ended category we offer, a “creative film” can be almost anything you want. We’ve shot mini-documentaries, music videos, and even editorial style fashion videos. Whatever vision you have in your head, let us know and we’d love to make it happen!
